I had my long arm sewist quilt it closely since she sits on her bed to do homework. So I suggest any pattern that will survive frequent washing!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18050564163847562219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4724806993311924527.post-57082758002027409272015-04-26T13:53:51.562+01:002015-04-26T13:53:51.562+01:00Hope you had a Happy Birthday! This would make for conversation starters with her new friends!Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05524208974066132710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4724806993311924527.post-9582639133249404832015-04-25T20:07:25.841+01:002015-04-25T20:07:25.841+01:00Happy birthday lovely Jen!! Sounds like you had a perfect day and to stumble upon a quilt shop is even better!! I love your fabric that you got for your sewing machine cover and to hold your accessories. Perfect for you!! I think you should do a churn dash or bear's paw pattern. Love the doggy material - so cute. I've just helped a friend make her first quilt for her daughters 18th, she used fabrics from the dresses she had as a little girl! We used the Ups and Downs pattern by Sarah Fielke and it worked brilliantly. You would need more fabric (hahaha!) so that might not be an option. I love a plus quilt myself, or large pluses on a low volume background. Does any of that help?memmenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15235923768416526388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4724806993311924527.post-74593959225990166922015-04-24T22:13:37.430+01:002015-04-24T22:13:37.430+01:00How about a giant Churn Dash block showcasing thos...How about a giant Churn Dash block showcasing those cute dogs in the middle?Tina Shorthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08669614683805887204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4724806993311924527.post-7175371913511553172015-04-24T21:36:26.240+01:002015-04-24T21:36:26.240+01:00i love disappearing 9patchi love disappearing 9patchbarbara woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824180957906837061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4724806993311924527.post-44967434343457531812015-04-24T21:00:57.729+01:002015-04-24T21:00:57.729+01:00Happy Belated Birthday!
